JMBS roofing system in its entirety consists of components as deep depth roof sheet with ridge cap , Tight frames as primary fasteners, OTFs as secondary fasteners and other allied components such as eaves and apron cap. All these components are specifically engineered and manufactured for their customized application.

Profile

Precision engineered, specially designed 88mm profile depth, 200 mm pitch , 600mm effective cover width , roll formed, trapezoidal profile is the strongest and sturdiest available in India. Deep Valley / high crest with special male / female sides with full return leg on side laps for anti-capillary action, ensure efficient water shedding; however torrential the rainfall. 

Wider purlin spacing upto 3 -4 m, ensures an elegant roof structure, and substantial savings in structural cost.


Tight Frame Fixing System 

Is based on the concept of integrated stiffening cum fastening machanism. This system of fixing. This system of fixing on contoured tight-frames with up thrust fasteners ensures a leak-proof, weather-proof roof that can face even cyclonic storms without any problems. Tight frames are 30 mm wide Hardened steel frames. The crests have built-in, up thrust, threaded studs that pierce through the sheet forming a natural flashing around the stud. A Metal washer unit with nut & EPDM washer assembly is tightened on top of the sheet to seal the piercing. Tight frames are welded/fastened to the purlins thus they not only provide a unique, strong, leak-proof fixing system, but also reinforce the profile strength.  

OTF

This specially engineered fastener assembly is used to stitch the side overlaps of profiles in between the purlins. The unique assembly of a butterfly-washer, polymer sleeve  and  nut-washer  unit,  provides  a  reliable,  strong  joint  between  two overlapping profiles, thereby virtually integrating the whole roof into an interlocked monolithic  sheet.

 JMBS  offers. precision engineered, add-on items such as lightning arrester dissipating  spacers, PP caps and various other accessories as per project requirements  


Material   

  • Zinc-Aluminum Alloy coated steel sheets (Aluzinc /Zincalume/ Galvalume) per ASTM-A-792/AS-1397 or equivalent standards.

  • Pre-painted Galvalume with Modified Polyester/ PVDF/ SDP/ Equivalent coating in variety of colors.

  • Pre-painted Galvanised steel sheets per IS-14246-92 or equivalent.


Flashings and Trims

JMBS also offers precision engineered, factory furnished flashings / trims including Ridge-cap, Barge-board, Apron cap, Eaves cap, Gutter, Down-spout, louver as well as special flashings to suit individual project requirements.


Allied Items

 In addition to its own manufactures , JMBS offers bought-out components such as FRP/Polycarbonate skylights,Roof-ventilators, mastic tapes, silicon sealants, foam fillers etc. The totality of system offers a complete solution and a strong, sturdy roof that can face roughest weathering conditions . The system also offers added advantages such as savings in structural costs, speedier construction and single window responsibility.
